Happy Thanksgiving

I just want to say Happy Thanksgiving to all of my awesome friends and family! As I reflect this morning on everything I am thankful for, I feel as if I could go on forever:

My faith, a God who saved me not just for a future eternity but for a now full of purpose; my church, full of life and grace, making a difference in our city and around the world, and giving me a place to grow and thrive and be a part of making that difference; my pastors, speaking encouragement and challenging me every week; Pastors Jonathan, Dan Lord, Bryan and Ashley Larson, Mundo Meneses, and everyone else who poured into my life during the awesomeness of Second Mile; my Data Teams at cville and dova, it is an honor to serve with you and make church happen; my parents, who worked hard to raise me right and put God first in front of me my whole life, you are such an inspiration, I love you both so much; my sister, my hero, you are a rock star and I can always look on your example of how to trust God and follow Him regardless of circumstance; the rest of my awesome family (aunt pat and uncle don, Kate, Robbie, Todd, Dina) I love you guys so much you have always been there for me and I am so excited about all the future good times we have ahead; my “Memphis fam”, that group of super close friends that God has brought close to me in this season of my life, you are such an essential part of my life and I am so excited for all God has ahead for all of us and sharing all that with all of you; Kevin Young, my best friend, thanks for all the years of friendship and brotherhood, you are another great example of selling out to God and everything he has for you, thanks for standing with me through thick and very thin; my closest friends, too many to name, I can’t imagine life without you; Jon, Erin, Carey, Todd, Kevin, you are among my oldest friends and it has been my distinct honor to be a part of your life through all the seasons of our lives that have come and I am eager for all the seasons ahead, I know you will always be there; Carey and Meg and Luke, it is such an honor to be an honorary uncle to Luke and I just love you guys so much, so pumped about the new little one on the way; my job, I love it, and I am so blessed to work for such a great company; my life and all the blessings in it and I know I’m leaving out so much but this is so long already so I will conclude with this: I love you all, I am so thankful for each and every one of you. Thank you for being a part of my life. Let the spirit of thankfulness continue in our hearts, words, and actions throughout the year.
